There are five houses, each painted a different color. In each house lives a person with a different nationality. These five owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet. No owners have the same pet, smoke the same cigar, or drink the same beverage.

The question is, who owns the fish?

Here are the clues:

  • The Brit lives in the red house
  • The Swede keeps dogs as pets
  • The Dane drinks tea
  • The green house is on the left of the white house
  • The green house’s owner drinks coffee
  • The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds
  • The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill
  • The man living in the center house drinks milk
  • The Norwegian lives in the first house
  • The man who smokes blends lives next to the one who keeps cats
  • The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill
  • The owner who smokes BlueMaster drinks beer
  • The German smokes Prince
  • The Norwegian lives next to the blue house
  • The man who smokes blend has a neighbor who drinks water

he wrote when he was young and claims only 2% of people could solve it at the time. Dont cheat yourself.

Apparently Einstein writes books full of these things. Prolific even after death. What a guy.

I feel confident if I sat down, turned off this youtube video Im watching, and had some paper and a pen I could figure this out.

But....fuck that

One of the horse had a carrot stuck in its ass guess which one it was?

The one that talked.

too lazy to work this out on paper, but its fairly straight forward. Just draw out the houses, and put the rest of the description in the houses, and you will come out with the answer.

The real test on these maths problems are to show who is sad enough to work them out.

It’s just a typical LSAT question. If I find the time I’ll grab some paper and try to work it out.

not even a page in and people cheated themselves... they didnt take your advice cheese

I did it right, refreshed and saw people posted it.
I also feel unless there is a time limit more than 2% should be able to get it.
