Lol at Eddie trying to make himself look important, little man syndrome

Lol, good luck to Eddie in getting a new, better contract with a boss like this.

Another joker that thinks he’s hot shit.

Between the shit he talked about Khabib winning the belt by fighting Iaquinta. He had the opportunity to step right into a TS. But blew it off by not keeping himself ready.

And now this... I’m starting to dislike the guy a bit.

STFU, and fight.

Alot of people say it’s the best division in the UFC. Bullshit it is. Nobody is fucking fighting. It’s the biggest shit show in the UFC.

what do you mean?

he's #4 in a division where the top 3 aren't fighting. and he's renegotiating, and he has been since December (source).

justify your statement.

you too.

he has one fight left on his contract. most fighters renegotiate at this time. some (like Mousasi) choose to fight out their contract and then renegotiate against offers from competing orgs. others do with one fight left, and not against offers with competing orgs. Eddie seems to be doing the right thing for his situation.

why does this particular information suggest he "thinks he's hot shit"? justify your statement.

Eddie fucked up by getting steam rolled by Conman in an entended domination.

I don’t think he can recover from that humiliation to casual fans and UFC feels the same way.

seems like a common theme these days with the ufc

and people wonder why Conor never came back sooner

double standards

Losing vs McGregor is no shame. There's not a single fighter in the UFC facing McGregor, that hasn't lost.

That's how good McGregor is.

It took McGregor going from 145 to 170 in one fights time for him to lose.

I used to be on the Eddie bandwagon but I think you're right. He probably made more money against Conor than he ever made and now thinks he deserves it. If he had put up a better fight in that defense, I would agree but he got totally schooled. A total drubbing like that is hard to come back from and sell tickets to casual fans.

No one got steamrolled that bad tho for such as extended period.

It was Anderson vs Forrest esque

oh no. what will the ufc do without him?!?!?!?!?!

Good for Eddie. I hope they can come to an agreement quickly.
