Excuse me, is anybody here buying/offering those fake Grant that everybody needs to comment it?

Fake gloves, particularly Grant, are on ebay.co.uk almost every week. Some are better made, some are a total crap. And always, always somebody buys them. A person who would buy these gloves has either never seen Grant gloves or/and is a complete idiot. In both cases it is his/her decision. It is the same with all fakes. Do you see something one ebay? Email the right owner and ask whether or not it is genuine - in 99% case the companies respond. Do you want to grab them as soon as possible to get the "bargain"? You are a greedy fool then and deserve it.

It is the same with many things on ebay - jewelry, gemstones, works of art etc. etc. People pay thosands and get fakes. Why? Because they are greedy ignorants.

You do not need to be an expert to define these gloves are not Grant. See a picture of Grant (you have probably seen it since you want Grant), see these gloves. Are they similar? NO WAY. Do you still want them because they are cheaper than usual? Go ahead, grab them - get your fool's gold.

Beside fakes you can often see those Chinese Grant gloves that you used to be able to get at 30-40 bucks. Selling at 300 and claiming they are Mexican and retailed at 500+ and also that you cannot get any Grant gloves anymore anywhere (hinting or literally claiming the company is out of business). And this bothers me a lot more than some weird IMF Pakistani gloves that even a blind man after 2 bottles of vodka would not mixed up with the real Grant.

    Suum cuique.

LOL finally some one gave him negative feedback.

'Con man and his sister fake grant gloves from Pakistan, sent back seeking refund'

I reckon someone should email him and say theres a thread on him. Or better yet, purchase one of the gloves, dont pay him and just leave negative feedback warning everyone that hes selling topboxers gloves :).

You know what is even worse than selling knockoffs? People who shill bid on their own auctions to increase the final sales price. You know, they create a second account and increase the price of their own stuff, and then if they win the auction by mistake, they offer a second chance to the second highest bidder and then relist if they have to.

There is a cool link that shows how to easily spot shill bidding: http://www.ebay.com/gds/SHiLL-BIDDi...ill-Bidders-On-Ebay-/10000000002559018/g.html

The five most obvious things are:

    1. Few shill bidders will have any feedback.
    2. Generally, a shiller only bids on the auctions of a particular seller.
    3. Shill bidders are most often newbies.
    4. eBay has ways of the tracking shillers.
    5. Shill bidders retract many more bids than normal buyers.

Like check out this guy for example: http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI....eName=PageBidderProfileViewBids_None_ViewLink

This dude has zero feedback, has bid on 13 separate items all from the same seller, and recently won a pair of gloves that have been relisted a few days later.

    Weird, huh?

Edit: Whoa, check out this guy too!
    http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI....eName=PageBidderProfileViewBids_None_ViewLink

Again, zero feedback, bid on 14 items all from one seller and no one else, and shit, looks like it's the same seller. Even has 2 bid retractions in the last 6 months.

    Double Edit: whoa, 2 more!

    http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI....eName=PageBidderProfileViewBids_None_ViewLink

    http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI....eName=PageBidderProfileViewBids_None_ViewLink

How weird is that, right? 2 more bidders, zero feedback, all bids with the same seller.

Actually, going through this guy's completed auctions, it looks like all but 1 or 2 auctions have been bid on by zero feedback bidders with multiple bids placed for only one seller.

    Weird, weird stuff.

Must be, because one of them is literally the high bidder on every single active auction the seller has:

    http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&rt=nc&item=181363371041

    http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&rt=nc&item=171282266109

    http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&rt=nc&item=171282151381

From custom boxing gloves, to pants, to even binoculars, this guy has zero feedback and is only bidding with one seller, but is the top bidder on all the items. The weirder part is he (or a different zero feedback bidder with 100% bid history with this seller) either bid or won most of the same items from the same seller already:

    Same gloves won:
    http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&rt=nc&item=171271083343

    Same shoes won:
    http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&rt=nc&item=171271049312

    Same pants won:
    http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&rt=nc&item=171271032920

I mean, this other bidder looks like he won the SAME shirt 3 different times:

    http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&rt=nc&item=171270998993

    http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&rt=nc&item=171251144438

    http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&rt=nc&item=171242952154

    Crazy huh?

No, no, no. He's just blatantly stealing from people, nothing as serious as danger.

Naw, just thought it wa funny that you shill up literally every auction you list. You and I both know eBay won't do anything because they still get their cut, just wanted to point out that you haven't listed an auction in as long as your history allows that you didn't shill up.

If you are confident I am shilling up my auctions, please report this, I am sure ebay will have a look at it. Otherwise find a different hobby, a small boy.

I was going to bid on those gloves, think I'll pass.

Thanks for posting this, I wouldn't even have noticed otherwise.

Naw, I'm good. People here aren't stupid, they can spend 5 seconds looking at your auctions and draw any conclusion they'd like. Smart money says they see the same blatant shill bidding on, again, literally every single auction you list, but maybe they won't.

What about the countless past auctions they won? How about the zero feedback bidder who won the same shirt 3 different times?

Why did the zero feedback bidder not pay for the TB gloves the first time they were listed? Why did you let them bid on all of your recent past auctions, as well as all of your current items?

Why didn't you leave feedback for all of the auctions "won" (and later relisted)?

    *Edit for grammar

Yeah I saw the 0 bidder on the gloves has been removed, though if I'm not mistaken the gloves have been re-listed, as the original ones were sold to the same 0 bidder you just removed. So either someone is trying to screw up your auctions by winning and then not paying, or there's something else going on.

You can block bidders, so that isn't the problem. He has a loooooong history of the same small group of 0 feedback bidders winning (and on rare occasions losing) his auctions. If they win, the item is relisted (often to be won again by the same person) and no feedback exchanged. If they lose, the item does to get relisted and feedback is exchanged.

    Weird, huh?

And now all the auctions have been pulled only to be relisted with private feedback...

Nope, totally not stealing from people...

What do you mean 're-listed with private feedback'?

I did notice the gloves are no longer up, and a lot of auctions have started from scratch.
