That's how I did the shading in the Rick and Morty heads, with the crayon. I'm learning how to properly apply those brushes to great effect. If only I knew how to draw people right still. Faces and feet are the bane of my drawings.

is it a big advantage having those tools? I'm on vista on this laptop and MS Paint doesn't have any of those

I'm gonna go pick my desktop up this week then I'm at least on windows 7

It can be on virtually any topic, other than MMA which has its own series of threads in the heavies. Instead of using fancy graphics programs or special software, stick to the classic - MS Paint. For those that have a Mac instead, use Paintbrush.
