it might be tom clancy esque and perhaps even sounds a little crazy.

everything is there. ethnic tensions, demographic bombs, class war and generational war, religious extremism or terrorism, untold numbers of former islamic state soldiers within europe, unintegrated minorities, no borders, no deportations, political groups favoured by certain sexes, right wing rising etc etc. can the political left even trust their own police force an military because those groups are traditionally the first to rebel.

Islam is also far right and has more support and numbers in Sweden, s well as globally, than all far right boogeyman combined. But don't let the facts get in the way of your attempts to deflect from the issues of intolerance within your group. Yes, not all.

Because the far right is taking hold in eastern europe. Slovakia for example wants to ban islam altogether. Muslims are the new 'other'. Anything bad that a Muslim does is applied to the religion. Can you imagine gangs in detroit being described as 'Christian gangs' because some suspects might have christian names? Muslims choosing to wear a headscarf is even under a scrutiny microscope.

While in the US, armed militias yelling about genocide to Muslims are propping up and protesting with assault weapons outside mosques.

After some antisemitic attacks on Jews and the synagogue in Malmoe (that prompted Ira Forman, Obama's Jewish Outreach Director to visit Sweden), we had Jewish representatives from the city's synagogue telling media that it wasn't Neo-Nazis that were attacking them. This however didn't change the ruling party to change its narrative that it's right-wing extremist that are making Sweden unsafe for Jews.

A prominent Jewish journalist wrote yesterday that we must stop empowerering Nazis because no one in Sweden likes them. They become emboldened because media overplays their influence and importance. In the current election, they received a whooping 0,03% of all votes. To sum it all up, it's not safe to be Jewish in Sweden but it's safe to be an antisemite as long as you belong to the left-wing or belong to a protected class like a Muslim.

@Rebound59 are we going to let Sweden make us look bad? How can we maximize progress in Canada and achieve progressive ascension before Sweden?

The death of Europe might be a bit hyperbolic. Northern/western Europe still has a very high standard of living and very low crime compared to most of the world.
The mass immigration of useless goat herders is however testing the limits of the welfare state.

You always have to be careful with British political influencer talking about Europe.
They have been actively fighting against a United Europe for the past 1000 years.
Europe 2018 has been the best time for Europe ever all things considered.
Now I am not saying that there aren't serious issues that have to be addressed but they are not nearly as bad as the issues Europe has overcome in the past.

The same enemies that conspired against a European Reich in 1913 conspirer against it now.
You don't hear those people talk about the death of the US who has a way worse immigrant crisis than Europe. Or the death of Russia which has problems that are unheard of in Europe.

It's not about left or right. It's about prioritizing your own over others. I think Slovakia has what we'd call a liberal government yet is opposed to the migrant quota. Whereas Merkel is viewed as more right wing yet encouraged this whole mess while personally being sceptical of multiculturalism.

I don't take the hyperbolic title seriously while seeing value in the content. Eastern Europe has persevered through centuries of visits from steppe nomads, mongols and Ottomans and will muddle through this invasion as well. The western states just need to learn the same lessons that they've been insulated from throughout centuries by their eastern neighbours. And to remember their heritage is something worth preserving.
