Donald Trump is a White Supremacist that is Surrounded by White Supremacists - Jemele Hill

If they keep throwing that word around without any real substance it'll be another case of the boy who cried wolf, no one will take any notice.

People are so stupid its hard to accept there's not an agenda.
You should ask why Donald Trump he throws out that accusation so much there's a web page devoted to it.
he's not even a white nationalist...
If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, does it matter if it's a duck as long as it is walking the duck walk and talking the duck talk?

Pocahontas is the best you can come up with? Insensitive, but a stretch to call racist especially in the light it was used. And I say this as a person that truly is embarrassed that he's our president. (that doesn't mean I'd rather have Hillary)

Btw- Hill didn't call him racist, she said he was a white supremacist.
Others came up with better examples than I, it was just one of many I picked off the site I sourced. But my point is not related to how demonstrably racist he is or isn't but that he throws out the accusation with such vigor, (not only is he obviously over compensating,) he doesn't get to complain when someone returns the accusation.

There's a very minor distinction between between racist and white supremacist, so it's a bullshit distinction, but I'm not going to give the person who trotted out said bullshit the satisfaction of being tagged in a post of mine.

I actually enjoyed her show back when it was called His & Hers/Numbers Never Lie. Ever since Trump got elected a lot of people have gone off the deep end to say the least. Trump may have his problems, but man is that guy good at weeding out crazy and making people tell you how they REALLY feel

It's true that he shouldn't complain about anything after the shit he's done the last 8 years, but that's a different matter.

And there's a huge distinction in being racist and being a white supremacist.

When Mrs. Y clutches her purse and crosses the street because she sees a group of minority teens or Bill assumes that the blacks at college play a sport it's considered racist.

When Billy Bob joins the klan or John becomes a skin head it's because he's a white supremacist.

No, it's not all that big a leap from one to the other. When I hear a black person referred to as colored, and believe me, it still happens, they aren't saying that because they think they are equal to blacks. You don't have to show up at meetings and rallies to think your race should reign supreme.

How is colored racist when minorities are referring to themselves as people of color?

I work with a girl that's married to a black man and she said colored one day and immediately another girl told her she wasn't suppose to say that word. "they get mad if you say colored"

I've heard colored from a white lady with 2 biracial sons. I usually say black. Some people get offended if you don't use the term African-American, while I have another coworker (AA) that says she isn't African.

The truth is that a lot of white people aren't sure what term is ok to use without offending someone.

This.

I get the criticisms people have of Trump, but thinking he is a white supremacist is nonsensical. He's a guy who's got a favorable track record throughout his career on race issues. I don't remember anyone ever saying he was racist until he became a Republican.

It's partisan hysteria, and nothing more. That's par for the course for Jemele.
Critics abound in any presidency (as young George W. certainly can attest to), but critics of Trump are on another level. Some of them are dumb. Some of them are mean. Jamele may be both dumb and mean.

Isn't there some type of label for one who is not intelligent enough to understand how dumb one really is? Dunning-Kruger Syndrome comes close.

1. I don't believe anyone has gotten fired because of their political views, people have gotten fired for making stupid and insensitive comments. Think Kathy Griffen getting fired for holding a bleeding Trump mask, yeah, that was dumb of her but nothing I would consider to be a political viewpoint.

2. I'm almost certain that "safe space" is a psychological term for where people can be in a group discussion and share without having to face judgment for their actions and what they share. Sort of like Alcoholics Anonymous.
Be careful with placement of your certainties, my dear boy.

Who cares what someone else thinks of your skin?

I can't wait to vote for Trump again...just to see these liberal, self-righteous piles of shit cry.
I wonder how your children (if you're capable of having any) would react to your gleefully selling out their future for the lolz.

Is this a serious fucking question? Tell ya what. Instead of anecdotes, try going around your home town (assuming you live in the US) and ask every black person you see how they like being referred to as colored by white people. Let us know how that goes.

It's true that he shouldn't complain about anything after the shit he's done the last 8 years, but that's a different matter.
And in what way is that a different matter? That's exactly the matter at hand. The White House is calling for her to be fired. Trump wasn't fired from his TV job when he called Obama a racist. It doesn't seem to have had any impact on him at all that he's called lots of people racists. That's the point entirely. I have no sympathy for that greasy douchebag regardless of what is said about him with all the bullshit that comes out of his mouth.

Yes, I'm not talking about the whole my ni**@, or just the N-word in general. Or even the word negro. Do you see a linguistic distinction between people of color and colored person? If you do then you have SJW mentality.

Sure, it's anecdotes, but I should have given more detail.
-The lady married to a black man that said colored was born and raised in this area.
-The lady who said THEY don't like that word was raised in WV somewhere and didn't know the first lady was in a bi-racial marriage.
-And the black lady that says she isn't African-American was raised in Anacostia (D.C.)

Now on the face of it none of these ladies fit the idea you suggest. You would think the lady from WV would be the one to unknowingly use an "offensive term" and the lady in the bi-racial marriage would be the 1 correcting her (preferably without saying THEY). And the lady from DC (a city) should be the one demanding that she be called African-American. But none of them fit your cookie cutter outline of racial norms in America. So yes, most whites are confused as hell.

Well I grew up in the closest thing to the projects we had and ran track so I was made an "honorary brother" (dawg to be precise) and always use the term black or AA, but you are still missing the point. Some people will get offended at the word black, some at AA, others at colored (though none I ever met) so yes I think a white person can say colored and not be thinking supremacy - lady 1 certainly wasn't.

It's a different matter because this thread was about Jamele Hill calling Trump a white supremacist, not the stupid shit Trump has said or does.

I agree that he shouldn't get any sympathy, but I don't think we should throw around that term like it's just another meaningless word.

We spent 8 years calling damn near all conservatives racist - now people laugh when the word is tossed out as if it has no meaning at all - "you don't support universal health care? you don't think the gov't can fix all of our problems for us? you're a f'n racist"

Who the fuck is we? There go all these dumb as shit generalizations. It's tiresome.
The racist label is applied to White Nationalists because it's an inherently racist ideology, not conservatives in general (at least by me). But speaking of generals, why do you suppose Trump appointed Jefferson Beauregard Sessions despite him previously being denied a position because of his racist views?

Trump said crazy shit about Obama while hosting the Apprentice on NBC, were you outraged old ladies losing your shit then? Harden the fuck up, ignore the Sportscenter host's Twitter account if it puts sand in your vaginas, and focus on the real issues surrounding the guy you got elected president.

They won't. It would mean admitting that it really, REALLY looks like he got a lot of Russian help.

I'd tell them he was an asshole, but that he stood his ground against ignorant, idealistic, liberal psychopaths.

He stood by the side of, and supported Americans, who didn't buy the socialist garbage the media and snot-nosed leftist babies are constantly propagating.

In what way is he supporting Americans? By lining his pockets at the their expense? By putting Goldman Sachs (Mnuchin) in charge of the treasury to give tax breaks to the rich? You know, Goldman Sachs, the guys who helped precipitate the global financial crisis? By rolling back environmental protections to poison your kids and to protect outdated jobs while ceding leadership in innovation to China?
