It's jarring because people forget that what they're seeing is an illusion. Women go through a LOT to look good, way more than most men realize. And this is nothing new. Even the Egyptians used mascara, liner and blush and that was long before the days of air brushing and Spanx.

That "hot" women you see in the bar? 95% of it is not real. It's an illusion created through foundation, mascara, blush, stylists, push ups, girdles, hose, heels, etc, etc, etc.

Of course, then the question from the Matrix kicks in. If it looks like a steak, smells like a steak, and tastes like a steak, then what's the difference?
 
Since Cerrone is already known to pull in serious ass guess the white knights won't be able to discredit him with the loser who can't get laid angle.

Rousey is unusual is that we see her often without make up or flattering clothing as many pictures are of her either in competition or working out in the gym. Athletes like Rousey are more concerned about winning a fight or getting better than in looking their best for the cameras.

Good post. Reminds me of the girlfriend I had in High School. All done up and shit during the day. When I woke up to her in the morning and after she showered I was like, "Whoa!"...not the same person. It took her at least an hour to do her make-up and seeing all that went into it was crazy. After that experience I was more drawn to women who wore less make-up.

For 90% of hetero men, they would not turn down a no strings attached offer of sex from a woman who looks like Ronda. This does not mean she is their ideal or that they jack off to women like her in their fantasies, just that she has enough youth and a flat stomach to be fuckable. The bar really is low for men overall.

For some men, like Donald C, who are used to fucking hot feminine women, I can see why he may not find Ronda hot.

Ronda has enough looks that she can look sexy in makeup (not all women can, although they all improve a ton with it), and that is enough to make her a super star combined with her talents. She has a sort of rugged femininity to her, just enough of it.
 
Weight cut ronda is decent, but it doesn't count because a girl is never going to be walking around that dehydrated normally.

I think Ronda is good looking, but her butch attitude is unnattractive. I know she's tougher than most females and her mindset is different, but the whole tough bitch thing is what brings her down to me.

If I had the opportunity to hook up with her I would, wouldn't marry her though.

More women wear them than you realize. Spanx are girdles. Look up Spanx corporation. It's a billion dollar company and their demographics are spread fairly evenly across age groups including women in their 20s, 30's, 40's and upward.

Women wear them for "smoothing"... essentially a euphemism for making their bulges look less bulgy.

It's kind of a downward spiral as we pretty much get conditioned to prefer make up over natural looks, which wouldn't have to be the case if we hadn't put ourselves here. The evidence is that us men don't have to use make up to look good, which does not mean that we don't have the same "flaws" as women, we've just not conditioned ourselves as much to the idea that men should look like people with make up (despite that they of course use it in all media).
