Does Werdum vs Volkov finally prove that Fedor rocked Werdum instead of being baited?

He went to the ground against Volkov exactly like the Fedor fight when he was rocked. Many argue that Werdum was trapping Fedor but it seems differently
I don't get what Werdum's tactic against Fedor has to do with Werdum's tactic against Volkov. Werdum vs Fedor happened 8 years ago, that Werdum has progressed.

Werdum used to flop all the time...Fedor wasn't the first time.

Quit making excuses..Prime fedor lost to Prime Werdum

facts

Prime Fedor, 5 years after his prime.

It really doesnt matter wether Werdum was rocked or not,the result is the same. The reign of reigns ended.

No. I think we always knew Werdum was a little chinny (see Stipe, JDS, Hunt knocked him down a couple times, etc.), and seeing Volkov put him away doesn't give us any new information. It's irrelevant anyway, since Werdum kept his wits about him enough to submit Fedor even after being knocked down.
Stipe, JDS and Hunt all hit hard AF! Being hurt or dropped by them does not make you chinny. Don't speak for everyone else when you don't know what TF you are talking about.

Lol @ prime Fedor

you fans always do this...once a fighter losses they're suddenly past their prime. 34 is prime age for a HW

2 months before that fight every fedor fans was screaming GOD. unbeatable GOD!

Werdum fell down against Fedor and his guard was instantly active. Against Volkov he fell down and was done.

LOL how dare I express an opinion on an MMA forum! The audacity!

Not true at all. Anyone who knew what they were talking about, said that he didn't look the same since at least the Arlovski fight.

Also, assuming someone's prime, based purely on a number, is silly. Especially silly after a decade of MMA fights and countless judo/sambo matches.

Nice try, though.

Well of course

Also the ref mistook fedor gnp for “tapping”

Werdum was pretty much done n fedor was on his was to a tko victory when big John made a rookie mistake n stopped the fight

Fedor is a very humble man n didn’t wanna make big john look bad so he never contested that loss (it would’ve been overturned if he did)

Shut your bitch ass up, geek. Fedor is relevant because hes like the Babe Ruth of our sport and people embrace him eternally. If you were a real fan you would embrace him too, but youre not, youre a fat basement dwelling american who eats processed foods and watches hockey. So STFU nerd.

You could easily attribute Fedor looking worse to his bad training quality like you'd do with other fighter, but you prefer the logic of him being out of his prime @ age 34 or the obscure "MMA-mileage" bullshit.

Sad!

Guys like Werdum are so good on the ground that the only way you will KO them is if on the feet, or, if you turn off their lights before they fall to the ground.
