Does Saki have the best standup in MMA right now?

Fallback to Kickboxing? Come on now...
what i meant is that mma recruits athletes from other sports who just make their skillset work in the octagon. there is no training system specificly for mma as a individual sport.

The guy who went 10 rounds with money is the best striker. No question.

True. They both have very different striking styles and are in completely different weight class so its weird to compare. I would say one is 1a the other 1b.
Thats one of the few arguements.

Not even close, silva still beats him, Overeem, Thompson just to name a few

I like Saki, but his transission to MMA is hard. He took so many shots. It ain't good in MMA with them small gloves.

Saki is a fucking JOKE. Can't believe people are jumping on his band wagon, even after he gassed in 10 seconds.
Overeem used to be considered the GOAT of K1 striking up until he got outstruck by... Werdum.

No one sane ever considered him one of K1's bests, much less the K1 GOAT striker.
He was just an uber horsemeated good kickboxer with lots of power who happened to win a GP with one of the luckiest run ever ( probably only 2d to Ernesto Hoost's legendary run in 2002 ) ..

He struggled with an oversized Spong ( around 230ish ) , then fought an injured Saki who he beat with one middle kick..
And then fought a bruised 40 years old Aerts who just fought a 3 rounds titan battle with Semmy Schilt..

That doesn't make him of the best K1 strikers, let alone the GOAT.

The size difference is just unfair. This is horsemeat to the max right here. Overeem didn't even want to open up with Saki because of the threat of being countered. He just used the big gloves to cover up the whole time to avoid any boxing exchanges. P4P it aint even close imo. Saki is the best striker.

Saki can easily just pace himself in future fights instead of going all out like he did against frankenstein. Nunes did it against Shevchenko. Conor did it with Nate. Saki just has to land one. He doesn't have to go all out.
