I use it to clean my phone, computer keyboard, refrigerator handles, etc.

    Does it actually kill germs?

Gets the germs alittle buzzed...then they get surly.... then they start pickin fights with each other. And THAT'S how alcohol kills germs.

Yes, but some of the concentrations are more effective than others. I believe the 70% is better than the 90% in this regard.

Rubbing alcohol is for skin, isopropyl alcohol doesn't have the oils that rubbing alcohol does and is better for surfaces. I use 91% isopropyl alcohol to clean a lot of stuff, it's the best way to clean glass and tv screens (use a microfiber cloth with it on such surfaces).

It really destroys the family lives of the germs, causing them to abandon their jobs, beat their spouses, and make them depressed. Eventually, the alcohol causes them to have liver failure or wrap their cars around telephone poles. And THAT’S how alcohol kills germs.

rubbing alcohol typically IS isopropyl alcohol.

what are these oils you speak of. most oil is practically insoluble in alcohols.

and as someone had mentioned before, the combination of water and ipa is what makes it a strong germicidal solution. at 91%, you have less than optimal amount of water and are consuming a more expensive product for less efficacy.
