Joe's unique in that he specializes in jiu jitsu. He has a lot to offer in that sense than other guys. He may know more about bjj than chael. Outside of that he knows more than the average guy that's for sure. Also has a tae kwon do bb but there isn't a lot of tae kwon do fighters in UFC. Joe also gives has somewhat of a fan's perspective in his analysis of fights

Only problem with Joe Rogan is, he can't stay on topic for anything. It will be an MMA podcast and the first 20 min are about running or hunting.

I don't care so much about Chaels podcast but I like what he is doing with little 5 min clips of him in a car or walking downtown talking about MMA..Chael knows how to tell a story well.

In the end. Rogans has him beat on the podcast side though.

Chael is a way better analyst than both Joe and Brendan. Even his 4-5 min clips I usually get get something out of. He knows this game inside out whereas Joe and Brendan don't bring much to the table it's really not that different from listening to a Sherdogger's opinion.

Ok, a former mma fighter who has solid opinions vs a mma commentator with little experience on most relevant topics that supports his best friend's conspiracies??

    i prefer uncle shale.

actually you are very nice with hogaine and Schaub. what surprises me is that Schaub was a mma fighter but his opinions and knowledge is soooo little that he tries to follow the thought of anyone who has a remote idea of mma; same with hogan but at least he saw tons of mma matches and has somewhat of a knowledge. what pisses me about Hogan is that he rarely relies on facts and he tends to be very emotional or overlooks things that any serious analyst will see (rhonda).

Rogan is way more entertaining but as much as people make fun of chael he really is one of the best minds and analysts in the sport. He has some crazy breakdowns and a ton of inside info.

Two different styles. Both effective for what they're going for, but JRE is obviously bigger

I don't know how you listen to podcasts, but I make a playlist and put it on at work hooked up to a bluetooth speaker. I don't memorize the order they're about to come on.

and wtf motherfucker knowing when something is gonna be loud doesn't mean it isn't loud don't get smart with me. just because i know you're a pussy doesn't mean you aren't still a pussy

    (i don't know if you're a pussy, btw)

Sounds like Helwani needs the golden shower back in his life.

It sounds like the theme from Operation Repo. I want to see Operation Repo go into Ariel's studio and repossess Ariel's shelves, because Dana told them Ariel was broke.

They say you are what you eat, I will not dispute your claim then.

And I just know if I'm gonna listen to the MMA hour that she's gonna be wicked loud. I just pick them one by one and select the next before the other finishes the last 10 seconds lol

Exactly, Chael claims. Have you heard his introduction? It goes something like this; Chael sonnen has defeated every champion mixed martials has ever known, he retired as the biggest draw and highest paid athlete of all time, here is Chael sonnen, you're welcome.

Lmao Chael is funny as fuck.

"I read some stuff that Ronda put out, and I'm a personal fan of hers, but I was stunned at some of the stuff I read. It had me sitting there saying, 'Ronda, you're not a fighter. You understand one thing and that's aggression. When someone is standing there who sucks, you understand how to attack that person. That is called aggression.'

"Fighting is when it's hard. Fighting is when that person is coming back at you with equal or greater resistance. That's what a fighter is, and when it doesn't go your way and you want to stay in bed in the morning, when that alarm goes off you get your ass up, put your boots on and you go face the world. That's what a fighter does."

I listen to both because I can do so while working, and podcasts help pass the day. Rogan's MMA podcasts are usually better than the regular podcasts but he get sidetracked too easily. Chael's podcast is hit or miss, sometimes I enjoy it other times like the recent oscars related podcast it is real boring. Bring back Joel!
