Does Brazil Do Drug Testing.

I know that the Brazilians at UFC are tested by WADA
do to USADA having no jurisdiction in Brazil but what i'm
trying to figure out is outside of UFC does Brazil do any
type of drug testing or is it just hope for the best since I've
seen one or two male & female from Brazil that look like
they use or are suspect do to muscle mass amounts.

You do realize that the last Olympics were in Brazil right? And that USADA does the Olympic testing? So to answer your question, yes USADA tests athletes in Brazil. And prior to USADA, testing was done by the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) - though some people feel CABMMA is suspect. Now that testing is handled by USADA, testing is as good in Brazil as everywhere else.

1. Brazilians in teh UFC arent tested by WADA, they are tested by USADA

2. Yes, the UFC do test outside of USA

3. They the generally use the anti doping agency of that country to conduct the testing for them

however

4. they dont need to in Brazil because they have a dedicated staff of a dozen, brazilian based testers working for them



Seriously, do you really think they would run an anti doping program where only people in teh US got tested?

Think about it, just for a minute and realise what you are asking
