I've seen it mentioned in a lot of threads. Is it true? If so, how is that possible within the same sport? Wouldn't it be like the NFL allowing PEDS in the AFC but not in the NFC?

How can wins and losses be equal if you can cheat in one org but not the other?

Or is the difference that one org is in the US and one isn't?

UFC doesnt drug test either

USADA and the state commissions do

Get your terminology game in check fam

They just suspend nobodies once in a while to make it seem like they have legit testing

they're tested by the commission, a way easier drug testing than USADA, thank god. now, I don't know if it has out of competition testing or not. the UFC used to since 2013 or something. but bellator, not sure @dimspace

They get drug tested on the same level as UFC did before Usada.

which basically means you can cycle and pass. Obviously you still can with Usasa too, because people are still getting caught left and right.

I think they use commission testing, which is pretty easy to plan for.

They drug test. They don't USADA test.

When they fight on indian reservations they are non drug tested. So when you see a Bellator card at some casino you have never heard of it's gonna be a bunch of juiced to the gills guys.

Bellator lets the commissions drug test. This usually means pre and post fight tests only. That's like the old UFC days when guys like Vitor got away with that he did. As long as you can stay clean fight night, you're good. It's an IQ test.

That's why you see Bellator and other organizations fight in obscure areas such as Native reservations.

The answer you're looking for is that the UFC pays extra money to have more stringent testing so as to be looked at as a more legitimate and fair organization.

Other organizations only get tested through commissions which is much cheaper for the promotion and easier to pass. They care less about being viewed as legitimate competition and look more for freak shows and entertainment value.

Bellator does a lot of shows in indian reserves and i am not sure there is even an athletic commission in those places.

This guy can pass their testing:

Not in the slightest

It would be the difference of NFL & CFL

Bellator and UFC are the same exact sport. CFL is not the same sport as the NFL and Bellator is closer to UFC's level than the CFL is to the NFL's level. How many elite players does the CFL have that can compete in the NFL? Bellator has some fighters that are better than most in the UFC. Mousasi. Rory. They are not CFL level players.

And it backfired. Just makes the sport look dirty with people popping all the time. It has had the opposite effect it was intended to have. classic UFC short term thinking.

Seems like it.

OSDT is very expensive as well. There are good reasons a lot of fighters refuse it, having to pay out of pocket being one of them

They do but it's at the level that the UFC's test were before the all mighty USADA was introduced.
