Dude is super talented. He's like 41. I hope he one day makes it to champion status.
No. I don't see him beating Rockhold, and Whittaker already beat him. I like him, but no.
This. Whittaker beat him already and would beat him again, and I don't think he's getting past Luke Rockhold.
He's so explosive he has a chance against all the top guys, to KO them like he did Weidman. But i'm not sure he even beats Gastellum in a 5 round fight. Very excited to see him vs Rockhold.
would be cool to see him champ. hes entertaining and a good dude "no to gay jesus" LOL
i don't know
I sure hope so. Yoel has a super fan-friendly, explosive style.
And he's actually pretty funny too. He'd make a great champ, even if for just a short while.
If he wins this fight against Rockhold he will, and Luke drops his hands often, Yoel will capitalize if he hasnt fixed that habit. I see Yoel becoming interim champ.
lol this is even more funny. yoel romero told "no forget jesus" and in the press conference they ask him him totaly serious about "no for gay jesus?"
God, no, not Gay Jesus!
Rocksalt, Whit, Jacare, Gastelum, anybody, even Bisping, but no Gay Jesus!
When Romero gas out he will be kick in the head and finished in ground
Does Interim champ count?
He'll KO Luke
Hell yes it will be a glorious moment in MMA
Yoel can retire soon after too on a good note.
im pumped more for romero vs rockhold then whittaker vs rockhold honestly.
I think Yoel and Overeem will be UFC champs at the same time...
Its not like Romero got smoked by Whitaker
I got Romero beating Luke, then he rematches Robert, thats his last chance at gold. If he cant correct himself in the rematch then he deserves to lose.
It's truly a 50/50 fight. No idea who will come out on top. Gun to my head I say Rocksalt just because he's a lot younger. Then again Gay Jesus clearly has access to the best "sups" on the market.
He will KO Luke and become interim champ, then lose to Whittaker again I guess. Granted he CAN beat Whittaker. He refrained from going balls to the wall in round 3 like he usually does, just so that he had something left for rounds 4 and 5. But if he turns into Yolo Romero in round 3 in a Whittaker rematch, who knows what would happen.
Whittaker would beat him easier in a rematch.
