Do you think being forced to drop to 265 negatively affects Struve?

Conor is pretty stocky, he's 5'9" and probably weighs in the 170s with very little body fat.

Stocky? Conor is medium-small by Lightweight Standards. Conor weighed in at 168 twice in a row against Diaz after bragging about being able to eat steaks and fattening food. His walk around might get up there but he has never weighed that much in the cage. Mind you this was also at welterweight, he looked 5-10 pounds leaner against Eddie.

Vs Diaz first time around 168 pounds

vs Eddie, weighed in 155, but I doubt he was any bigger then 165 in the cage.

That is what you call stocky.

What hinders Struve is his inability to be a good fighter

It certainly doesn't help and it's a stupid rule. HW should be unlimited, the HW champ should have to be the best in the world no exception.
No shit. It's like having a track meet, and making sure all the sprinters weigh in at at least 200lbs.

Yes, Struve's optimal weight for fighting is almost certainly above 265 pounds. Another one is Bigfoot Silva, he was a monster back when he didn't have to cut.

The weight limit on the HW division should be removed.

Agreed with Struve but Big Foot was also much much better when he was on the juice.

I am only in favor of removing the 265lb weight limit if they raise the LHW division max to like 225lbs effectively making it a cruiserweight class and then move up MW weight limit to like 200lbs.

The UFC does NOT need more weight classes, what they need is weight class readjustment.

And Semmy Schilt is the same height as Struve but weighs 300lbs and he isn't super muscular either. A guy who is 7'0ft unless he is a basketball player should weigh over 260lbs if he decently muscular and a pro athlete.
