I think you guys are looking at it wrong, Silva had both his hands down, it's the best stance to defend a TD, the problem is: When this technique fails just a bit it things become Silva vs. Weidman 1 pretty fast.

You may be right on the take down part. Anderson is a freak athlete and can pull of some crazy stuff. A serious anderson silva who's not goofing off in the octagon can pull this off. Also, I saw where he only had 2 boxing matches...so for that I take back what I said. However, I do think he has above average boxing skills from my observation.
