Putting a quarter panel patch on my Barracuda.
Never had anyone teach me how to weld so I just farted around on some spare sheet metal until it started looking right. There is a huge difference in welding good clean metal in a perfect environment and welding new metal to old metal in a dirty environment. Gotta get that shit clean clean clean or else the welds look like absolute ass. The weird thing is that the welding actually turned out to be the easy part. It's the grinding the welds down flat that's the tough part. The flat parts of the quarter are easy to grind but it's around corners and curves that is a major bitch.
