Not especially as a fighter, but again we see that even without the casino skimming heirs how ruthless the UFC is run. Everything is so arbitrary. They get rid of Smith because she wants a union so they give her her win money while offering another fighter on the same card half his show money. An organization allegedly worth $4-$5 billion but won't pay a fighter's mandatory medicals.

If you're gonna cancel a fight + extra pay because you're not gonna fight someone 1.8lbs heavier than you, I couldn't care less if they let you go.

Imagine if Royce Gracie made a fuss over weight? Even the heavyweight division has a 55lbs weight difference, yet they just get on with it. If your opponent comes in at the weight of a different weight class fine, but if it's 1.8lbs and you're a FIGHTER then just fight, or if you don't then accept the consequences.

2-3 Threads on the subject, it might be the first time a fight is cancelled because of a fighter missing weight and rival not taking the catchweight fight, also she mentioned rules in NJ were different i think, so she got full money without fighting, but now is out of a job, a few claim that she was going to get cut anyway because of her stuff outside of the cage, hearing the interview she sounds like a troublemaker employee, thing is, she wasnt a draw.

It should be all their show money in my opinion, if you miss weight that's your fault and your opponent should be fairly compensated. I think on rare occasions they do it on purpose to gain an advantage
