Astroturfing is real and its going on daily. It's entirely possible the UFC has paid internal or external teams to astroturf MMA message boards. I have no idea if they ever have or will, but you have to acknowledge this goes on.

There are definitely UFC employees who post here. It has been the case for a while and continued through the new ownership.
Probably the biggest problem is people coming here to try to alter the betting odds for a fighter by convincing everybody the opponent is going to demolish them.
