I deal in centimetres. Writing that killed me.

For height I straight prefer imperial. 5'10 or 6' is much more evocative to me than 178 or 183. You can use quarter inch measures if you like which is 0.6 cms (so basically you can go as accurate as using half cm's if you really want to).

I tend to agree but I've just always used metric and much prefer that for height. I prefer to used 183.1 if needed. Quarter inch just doesn't cut it.
