Depends on where you are located and the what is legal in turns of interest rates laws. In Oklahoma for instance there is no cap so rates can go well over 100%. This is how they suck people in by trying to get you to refinance over and over. I'd go get a bank loan if possible because they tend to have the lowest rates.

A good strat I've found is to get a small overdraft on your regular bank account, mine is $2k.

All that means is that you can withdraw and/or spend until your account is at -$2,000. You try to keep it at 0 because you get charged standard interest on the amount under 0 you go, but for situations like this you can get the cash, pay whatever you need, top it up a few days later and pay nothing extra.

Even though I have plenty of cash these days, I still find it handy from time to time.
