Do any ufc belts have any credibility?

Other lw champ hasn’t fought in years, wants to be a boxer, was finished by a journeyman at ww and seems to prefer fighting buses than fighters.

Fw champ is broken but without a diagnosis. I dig and respect max, and wish him a full and healthy recovery, but has missed a few fights and only became champ because the other fw champ decided he didn’t want to be a fw anymore.

Bantamweight champ is solid, but he is fighting a guy he took the belt from in the first place with a thunderous knock out. Cogar hasn’t fought since being flattened by tj, yet we have an immediate rematch lined up.

Mighty Mouse has fought and beat all challengers, yet his refusal to fight tj unless he is paid what he is worth (or feels he is worth) has lead to fans hating on him for, essentially not fucking up 2 weight classes.

The title pictures in every weight class are a mess, yet the ufc keeps doing the same shit time and again.

It's because the UFC has this ridiculous idea that they can't sell a PPV without having a "title" fight on the card. So they are constantly creating all these ridiculous scenarios for that to happen.

Just keep the integrity of the belts in place, put on the best fights on and people will still pay.
 
Dc is a real champ, and so is dillashaw.

As much as people don’t like it woodley is probably the most legitimate champ. Beat the number one guys twice and drew once.

Imo Whittaker is the fakest. He was interim and then proceeded to lose to yoel
 
IMO, all the champions are credible and have proven to be the best fighters in their weightclasses. In most cases, it's not the belts, it's the competition.

HW/LHW are old, short on talent, and share a champion who is on his retirement tour and only looking for money fights.

MW/BW are top heavy on talent and lacks definitive contenders that haven't already been or fought the champion.

LW just can't get the 3 best fighters in the cage together for one reason or another.

FLW has always been a shallow division that lacks elite fighters and the champion has already beaten anybody with any talent. Slight problem with the champion not wanting to challenge himself.

WW/FW are the only ones that have a champion problem, in that they can't get the champion in to the cage to defend.

I think the new Espn deal could actually help them do just that.

Rather than having farcical title fights on watered down ppv, I’m hoping they will have more meaningful fights on espn (or whoever new broadcaster is) and have more legitimate title fights on ppv.

But I doubt they will.

quit complaining about dj fighting tj,tj would risk nothing to fight him unless if he really wanted to he would vacate his title and fight a few fws.everyone is trying to be conor now with 2 belts.
