DJ Jackson charged for third degree sexual assault

Calling the sheriff in Iowa repeatedly is a terrible idea. That just distracts them from going after other criminals.

It is very unlikely that they can enforce the warrant outside of Iowa anyway. Unfortunately, for a lot of offenses, you can flee the state and basically be okay as long as you never go back. It is actually very common for scumbag pieces of shit to have states that they just can't go to anymore due to outstanding warrants.

Really the IBJJF should do something. They might not want to set a precedent by banning Lloyd because he was acquitted and so far is not facing criminal charges, but DJ is currently a fugitive from justice with an active warrant. He should not be competing at the Pans. He should be in jail.

At the very least, the IBJJF should be able to come up with a policy that known fugitives from justice are not allowed to compete. That should be beyond obvious.

Also, PG County Schools should ban him from picking up the kids too. Once again, fugitives from justice should not be picking up children from school.

nah. dont agree..

I will too, everyone should, more calls equals more chance of them going and getting him. That's how government works. We need to send a message that we will not tolerate sexual predators making a home in our community.

so why should he not be allowed to compete.

there are criminals in alot of sports who are still allowed to compete.
football being the most obvious

See here is where the problem comes into play. You say that if everyone here enforces everyone else here to calling the sheriff is a bad idea, then what do all these posts means? You all exposed DJ, yeah, congratulations. Too bad you still have resolved your main issue. The main reason why you insist on keeping this type of threads alive. The best way to attack your main target, which is LI (and not DJ, don't bullshit. Especially you) would be to get him what he deserves first. I mean, this was all for him in the first place wasn't it? Or do you really care about LI and his hustling tactics?

At the very least, the IBJJF should be able to come up with a policy that known fugitives from justice are not allowed to compete. That should be beyond obvious.
They don't have to do anything. When you compete in BJJ, you are competing in a sport. You are competing or comparing prison numbers or some shit like that. Should tetere and others be banned as well? I thought so. The IBJJF doesn't have to do shit. If you're so scared of competing with guys like this in one of the most prestigious tournaments out there in a COMBAT sport, I'd suggest taking something else up.

He doesn't have an active warrant against him does he?

There's also a large difference in abusing yourself and abusing other people. Rape/Sexual Assault =/= Doing some drugs.

Keyword: fugitive. Running from the law. If someone has faced the justice system it's a bit different.

so if DJ raped someone and got away with no warrant that would be Ok?.

riiiight

It's still a crime. If we're trying to ban criminals from a sport, it wouldn't be fair to leave Tetere out but exile DJ, right?

What difference in terms of harm to somebody else in there between an unwanted and a wanted CRIMINAL.

None. There is objective proof however, which far exceeds my threshold for justifying a ban on participation.

was going to post a reply, but just can't be arsed to talk to a moron.

Don't you bring Terere's name into this. Addiction is a disease. Committing Sexual Assault is not.

Terere has worked very hard to get back to where he is you piece of shit.
DJ is screaming at people on FB and teaching kids classes.

Honestly, I don't think Terere should be allowed to compete. He has much more important issues to worry about. He has gifted jiu-jitsu and has had a bad start in life, but you still are responsible for your actions. He should be going to schools and telling kids to not do drugs, be a role model rather than seeking glory. Look at Lance Armstrong too, and look at what happened to him.

I didnt insult Terere. its not a disease addiction is addiction.
and posession od crack cocaine is a felony.

im saying the ibjjf should allow anyone who is respectful on the mats and pays money to compete

That's not the fucking point. The fucking point is that you are trying to stop somebody from competing because he is a wanted criminal, but you let the unwanted criminal compete because he is unwanted. What the fuck?

The definition of a criminal is a criminal. That doesn't change. That doesn't mean I'm calling Tetere a crackhead or saying DJ doesn't deserve his consequences for his actions. I'm saying that if you're gonna ban criminals for being criminals, be fair. Not letting DJ compete because he is wanted but still a criminal under the law and Tetere isn't wanted is fucking stupid.

Don't involve BJJ with legal politics.
