I don't know much about Anne Frank

Her father is the one that found, edited and got her diary published, there's speculation that he may have added elements.

As far as the pages they found, most of it was about her getting her period, most of the jokes were pretty standard for a kid her age and she talked about her potential first kiss. One interesting thing was made mention that she knew her father had used the services of a prostitute in a part where she talks about prostitutes and basically something about men going to prostitutes and that men want to get laid. Nothing in it other than Dad Franks getting his dink wet at the whore house is really that groundbreaking.

Speculation is the pages were hidden because it was subject matter that would be embarrassing for a young girl if found by others, especially when you are living in an 800 sq ft area with seven other people.
