It's not about defending your title against Joe Soto.It's about defending your title on such a short notice against any fighter.Seems like you are too dumb to understand this.

First, its not that tough when "any" fighter is Joe Soto. People get all bent out of shape when DC includes Anderson Silva in his list of conquests, and here you are using Joe Soto, shame.

I wouldn't throw around the word dumb when you are arguing a fight with Joe Soto even on 3 hours notice instead of 3 days over rides the fact that TJ who cried about how unfair it was when he wasn't getting a title shot won the title again and the only fight he wanted was a smaller fighter in a division he has never fought in. 2 guys in his division that have victories over him, doesn't want either of them. Not Marlon. Not Rivera either. He doesn't want to test himself, he wants low risk fights. He was forced to take the rematch against Cody and I wouldn't be surprised if they gave him a choice and he chose Cody because he thinks he can beat him based on the last fight. That is a deep division and he doesn't want any part of it. In a couple weeks we will either hear him cry about Mouse, or cry that he deserves an immediate rematch.

If not liking him because of what I just said, or that he complained to his coaches on TUF that they should be giving him easier fights so he was fresh for the finals because he was the best fighter in the house, or that he has a reputation for hurting his training partners, jumping camps for $$ (which is fine, if you are honest about it), leading the charge for unionization, until he got a title and now he won't even admit he has heard of Project Spearhead when asked, jumping into the face of and yelling at a guy he just knocked out makes me a hater. That being said his record is his record regardless of what I think of him personally. He is a 2 time Bantamweight champion who has not a single impressive title defense on his resume. His division is stacked, and he is calling out a smaller fighter. He has never fought Marlon or Rivera. He has never beaten Cruz or Dodson. He is 1-1 with Asuncao. This rematch with Cody is silly, but no more ridiculous than him trying to fight MM rather than defend his title against any of those 5 I mentioned.

The difference here is that Dom won the first fight. TJ should be looking to avenge that L on his record.

Dom won the fight. That is different than a lot of people thought he won the fight. You keep acting like they are even in this and they are not. Dom has set the standard for bantamweights winning both the WEC and the UFC titles. He has lost only twice in 13 years. Head to head he beat TJ. He has a stronger claim to a title shot than TJ did.

By the way, you keep crying about TJ having to take two fights to get a title fight after he lost it. Dom never even lost his title, it was stripped due to injury and he didn't walk back into a title fight either. He came back and destroyed Mizugaki in the first to EARN a shot at the title he never lost.
