The only thing technical about Fedor's fight game was his arm bar. Aside from his an arm bar attempt Fedor was NOT a technical fighter. Rewatch the Big Nog fights, he would literally just try and power out of Nog's submission attempts, no technique at all. He tried the same against Werdum and it backfired hardcore, Fedor relied on his power far too often and it showed especially at the end of his career once his speed and strength started to decline.
