Did the use of PED's, including Turinabol have an influence on the outcome of the fight?

Remember when the 'Reem was juiced to the max in K1? He was literally a complete fucking scary beast. He got busted in UFC but truly went clean, and then he slowly started looking like a guy that really went clean. He was back to looking normal, and got beat a plenty. Before he went off all the cycles, he was seriously a completely different fighter.

It's funny how people think that just doing Roids make you get massive... It's the fact it let's you train harder for longer that gives you the gains - you still need to work hard.

It's embarrassing reading some of the ignorant shit people say.

Yeah, so the training and reps are hyper-compacted using PED's. It's like you clean fighter (or runner, or whatever) A can only train 3x per week with full recovery. Roided figher B can train 5-6 days per week at peak with full recovery. Fighter A trains 5 yrs. But fighter B is the same amount of time, has the equivalent of 10 yrs training skills developed. Not to mention greater overall strength. Yeah, it's a big deal.

Imagine if DC started juicing..

No.

DC fans are just throwing a tantrum. The fights weren't even close. He lost 4 rounds to 1 in their first fight and he was losing the rematch before getting KO'd in the 3rd round. The skill gap was just too big to fully blame on roids.

It's like saying Shogun would have beaten Jones if he was off the juice. Juice or not, that version of Shogun was never beating Jones. They were on different levels at the time.
It doesn't matter how much Josh Barnett juiced, he was never beating Crocop. Roids cannot erase such a big skill gap.

Now the Gustafsson fight is another story. Gus has a much better case than DC because his fight with Jones was actually very close. If Jones juiced for that fight, then it's reasonable to think he could've lost being clean.

I'm OK with DC getting the belt back, being ranked #1, etc. But saying he would have beaten Jones? nah, that's reaching. Nothing I've seen from DC suggests that he could beat Jones. The version of Jones that fought OSP would have still outpointed him all night.

Derp

Try to wrap your mind around this simple concept: steroids make you stronger

Now apply that to the Jon/DC matchup. Think about what happened the first fight. How Jon outmuscled DC in the clinch. How that might've impacted DC's gameplan going into the second fight...

Any light bulbs going off yet?

The only light bulb worth talking about is Jon's idea to lull DC into expecting body kicks, and then instead going high when DC dropped his guard.

Jon outfought DC, get over it.
