There'll probably be something in February. Whether it's anything helpful or not...

@GSP4tw

Looks like your prediction about IB was correct, although just a week early.

Iron Banner comes next week with CLASH!
Weapons are SIDEARM and ROCKET LAUNCHER.
Armor is CHEST and GAUNTLETS.

We will also be getting a hotfix for the following issues :

Destiny Hotfix 2.5.0.1
Following the launch of The Dawning, we have actively monitored reports of issues introduced with Destiny Update 2.5.0. Thanks to all who posted a report to the #Help forum, the following issues will be addressed by Destiny Hotfix 2.5.0.1, which will become available at 9:30 AM Pacific on Tuesday January 17th, 2017.
  • Some Patrol missions in the Plaguelands are not reliably causing enemies to drop their respective objective items
  • Xûr’s “Curio” inventory varies on a weekly basis, due to a limitation of his inventory space
  • Weapon Stability on the Nova Mortis and Abbadon Exotic Machine Guns is inconsistent

I haven't played in a few weeks but I might check back in for this IB. I love Clash and it's so much more relaxing than something like Control or Rift.

Clash... well at least the games will go quick. I was max on legendary marks so I decided to grab an engram from the engram decrypter dude, can't believe I'm blanking on his name, and I got an almost perfect roll on a Palindrome, Truesight/Icarus/Hammer Forged/Luck in the Chamber. Only thing missing was rifled barrel, but that's probably as close to a god roll as I've ever gotten since they took away reforging.

I honestly couldn't care less about the Nova Mortis or Abbadon issue to be honest.

Why do ppl want icarus? Is it like ppl wanting full auto on shotguns because it is suppose to be like the shot package perk?

On a hand cannon Icarus is actually a good perk. You ever tired shooting a Hunter who won't stop jumping around but is still somehow kicking your ass with a hand cannon? That's down to Icarus... for Hunters, especially those blinking fuckers, a high impact hand cannon with Icarus is tough to stop.

No only time I have trouble with jumping fucks is ones using shotguns or jumping over my hammers.

For me, I like it because I'm pretty much constantly in the air, especially on my Hunter, when moving around and it ups your in air accuracy quite a bit. It lets you get different angles and if you're shooting down on people it makes the precision hit box take up a bigger portion of the hittable area.

Is that why people like the full-auto on the Matador? I was under the impression that it cuts down your one shot kill range but allows you to get the clean up faster if you don't get that one shot kill. It seems like full-auto would be useful for Hunters more than other classes, Warlocks have their melee to clean up and titans are usually able to close the gap well enough to get that ohk.

Did trials for the first time since the Halloween trials and managed to go flawless. I never seem to get an easy flawless run. I almost always seem to lose my mercy early and end up having to run the table. Last night in the second match we got a full team of people with 2.0 and got steam rolled.

I also finally got to 400. I was debating staying 399 forever as an homage to the forever 29 club, of which I was a member, from the Vault of Glass days.

I don't really know just heard a guy on youtube saying it I never keep shotguns with it unless they match up fairly well with the invective. As for jumping around with a hunter they fall to fast for me to aim and I don't like jumping with titans or warlock because they float too much and makes an easy targets.

why do dumb fucks think it's funny to knock you off the hive ship in the new summoning pit strike

Nightfall is easy this week. Alak-hul with arc burn, specialist, juggler, and airborne.

ArcBurn, Specialist, Airborne.... I'll bet 3 guardians with 4th Horseman could jump and unload on DarkBlade and kill him in a few seconds.

Probably. I never thought to try that. I just used the Zhalo and Winged Word, which I think was doing either 63 or 68,000+ per headshot.

I remember a while back when the updated Phogoth strike was the nightfall with the same 3 modifiers. Guys were killing the ogre with their first 4 rounds with 4th horseman by jumping.

Edit: Here's a video, so there's also a tether and Weapons of Light Bubble.

Interesting. I ran it with a couple friends and one of them shoulder charged Alak-hul with Peregrine Greaves and then Fist of Havoc'd him while in the air and he was below half health.

when I looked up the weekly reset they list the wretched eye strike agian with arc burn so I got pissed and shut it off until the patch was released. If I knew it was the dark blade strike I would've ran it.
