Social 'Desmond' the 11 year old drag queen get's visit from older Drag queens on Good Morning America

Not gonna lie. For that type of money I'd do the same thing. Although perhaps not if I already had NFL money saved up. But MS makes more now than he did as a player. That NFL money also tends to go away surprisingly quickly with high tax rates, greedy friends and family, etc.
So what you’re saying society can gladly go into the toilet as long as you’re making bank...gotcha

MS makes $17 million/year. Yeah, I'd call some weirdo "brave" with a straight face for that type of money. And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one here who would, I'm just the one self-aware and honest enough to admit it.

Maybe, but that whole dynamic gives people more of an incentive (going to Heaven), as opposed to just “being a good person for the better of the community”.

Religion provides guidelines, boundaries, goals, discipline, responsibility and consequences.

It may be the belief in a myth, but that myth does create hope, which gives many people comfort. It also instills fear, which keeps them honest.

Surely we can do a bit better than fairy tales and threats .

Strahan has children to care for. I would also say ridiculous things on TV to make millions for my family. I highly doubt Strahan is going to change anyone's mind by asking tough questions. The culture we live in is the problem not a Michael Strahan interview. With that being said, I certainly will not be watching the interview.

The money is probably insane but he has made enough money over the years. Anyone celebrating the pimping out of a child and further destruction of any type of morals in the world is part of the problem. Money makes people ignore the problems.

I believe this too. I was raised in the Methodist church. My grandfather was a Methodist minister. However, I’ve always struggled with religion, even as a teen. I just could never make sense of it. I’m not religious now, but I think that church did give me moral and empathetic sensibility.
Yeah I'm not saying go because it's beyond a doubt true. I want to go because morals should change gradually over time. And you need others to enforce them. Plus there is the community aspect of it, if it's not too big.

There are things I wouldn't do for money. This is harming a child. This is sick , I would mic drop and walk away

Here is just one source in finding a church. I like the Seminary so here is their church finder from guys associated with their seminary.

I like a smaller church personally but that doesn't mean it's better. We've been having about 100 recently each Sunday.

It's kind of a tough spot. He's had that job for years, it's the best job he's ever had. It's not like they ask him to do that sort of stuff every day. I think when you have a job, you sometimes have to do stuff you don't want to do. If I were him, I would have just kept my head down, read that bullshit off the teleprompter and pretended to be nice to that kid and his family, just like he did. If you would walk away or never take the job in the first place, good on you. You've also got to factor in that speaking out or walking off in that situation isn't going to help, it's only going to kill your career and hurt you and your family. Sad, but true.

Def a lot goes into finding a churh that fits you anders you and yours thrive.
Thanks for the link. I'm in Japan though. Was thinking about orthodox, as I like tradition and the that they stand for things. Catholic is just too wishy washy for me

Pal this make him the worst of the bunch. ..there are many places when starving parents sells one of their children or daughter at brothels , the harsh life won't make them less guilty nor is an excuse but it happened , sometimes I read ugly reports about minors involved in prostitution rings even here. A millionare that agree to publicize a barely watered version is unforgivable.
Just image in 5 years from now..we will post about trans kids making openly pornographic movies and the anchorman , whatsever will be, call them "brave".

He is a smart and has made a lot of money after football. I doubt he truly is reliant on his income now to keep his head afloat. Maybe he does not have an issue with things like and that is why he did it. This is just terrible thing to see. This child has been groomed and people are applauding and praising it like it acceptable.

Yeah. The messed up thing is that the kid isn't legitimately transgender, nor is he actually talented. He's just parading around for attention and his parents are either pushing it or at least allowing it. He did a "death drop" when he walked out on stage and it was the worst one I've ever seen. He's being called talented and brave without actually being those things, he's going to be in for a rude awakening in a few years when he's just another guy and no one gives a shit anymore.

With the difference being that Michael Strahan has the money to put his morals first. It's not like he'll be starving, or have to apply for welfare if he refused to promote this shit.

Those kinds of excuses only go so far. This isn't a guy making $40,000 a year, afraid to speak out against his boss doing some seedy shit. This is a multi-multi-multi-millionaire. He has nothing to lose. At some point you become complicit, and greed isn't an excuse.

Also how will this affect him when he gets older. Suppose he grows out of this and wants to live a normal life. This publicity stunt by his parents will have be an issue for him.

Well NYC has finally come back around to its 19th century form

I'm confused.

Milo praised an adult priest for having sex with him when he was 13 years old, and then advocated for adult-child relationships as being a positive thing. Not just for himself, but in general.

A lot of you guys supported that statement, and continue to do so. I won't call you guys out by name, but you certainly know who you are. But now you're disgusted by an 11-year old dancing (you should be, it is disgusting) in front of grown men.

Let me get this straight. You acknowledge it is disgusting for an 11-year old to dance in front of adults, but you have no problem with a guy saying that 2 years from now those men could engage in a positive sexual relationship with him?
