Democrats No Longer Pretending To Support Borders

The title is correct, it's just focused on the wrong thing. The call to abolish ICE is not a call for open borders.

The call for open borders is the "fix our broken immigration system".

I listen to CNN and MSNBC when I commute and when I'm in the kitchen and I have heard nearly a dozen guests, some of whom are actual politicians talk about their thoughts on the immigration system and why it's broken.

What it basically comes down to with them is that it is too hard to get citizenship and we need to make it easier. However, what you can tell they are intending is to put essentially no limits on who can come in. Obviously, they don't come out and say it directly, they are all smarter than that. But it's not difficult to see what they are pushing for. To them, the only "fair" immigration system is to let anyone willing to cross the border to be a citizen.

Fuck that shit. I'm voting Trump again because of it. A billion people from 3rd world countries is not my idea of strengthening this country.

No, actually, fair would be not having to sit on a 10 year waiting list.

All the same restrictions and checks should be there. We just should be a bit more efficient about it.

I see lots of talk in the media that there is significant support for open borders yet have never heard of anyone actually supporting it other than politicians and idealist white college kids (who almost always end up becoming moderate after a few years in the workforce). This is one of those things where I seriously think there could be some deep state involvement. Nothing being presented in the mass media comes close to what I am experiencing in real life.
