Mayweather would have taken no chances or toyed with him and KO'ed Conor inside of 30 seconds.
Boxing is an A-level sport with a deep talent pool, fighters with no chin are quickly weeded out and never make it to the top
This doesn't happen in MMA and thats one of the reasons most of MMA fighters would get KTFO in a boxing match. In boxing, a guy like Eddie Alvarez would never make it past the club fighter status, yet in MMA he's considered "one of the best LW in the world" lmao

No kicking, no wrestling, no ground fighting, no submissions...and let's call it "fighting"Boxing is an A-level sport with a deep talent pool, fighters with no chin are quickly weeded out and never make it to the top

You mean, the much older, and more practiced sport, has the deeper talent pool, and would be better at their specialty than a jack-of-all-trades athlete?Boxing is an A-level sport with a deep talent pool, fighters with no chin are quickly weeded out and never make it to the top

Right now without any fighters changing the way they train...
If there were fights with boxing rules but fighters had to wear MMA/UFC gloves
would the boxer hold the upper hand? Or would the MMA fighter because
he is more adapted to blocking and avoiding punches while wearing these gloves?
Like if you just took Canelo and put him in against Woodley or Lawler
but they were using MMA gloves with boxing rules.
Or you took frickin' Andre Ward and put him in with Nick Diaz.
Octagon Or Ring?

The gloves are meant to protect the puncher. It doesn't matter what gloves you choose, the best puncher has the best probability of winning.
MMA fighters have very little clue about hand striking. If you fall for that "In MMA we have to worry about the takedown, and kicks and elbows and knees" narrative, then you ignorant.
These are not valid reasons for getting caught by slow, looping off balance punches. MMA fighters get caught clean with bad technique punches, because they don't know how to strike.
You can learn BJJ and Wrestling at 40 years old, and become a legit black belt at 45 or 50. Striking needs to be started at an earlier stage because it requires more fine motor skills.
If you take a hundred 25 year old dudes, and you start teaching them boxing, less than 10 percent will become black belts with them hands, but more than 50% of them can become legit BJJ and wrestling black belts.
You go out in the street and throw hands its not called fighting ? Ive seen tons of street fights with zero kick knees or wrestling , i guess those guys whernt fighting huh ?No kicking, no wrestling, no ground fighting, no submissions...and let's call it "fighting"

Sure, he got beat in a boxing match...no one is denying that. But, when it comes to fighting, Lloyd is about as troublesome as a cloudy day.Well, whatever you choose to call it, your boy got whooped. The whole cardio excuse is embarrassing. A professional athlete should have enough conditioning to complete all the rounds. Cardio is one of the most important things to develop in combat sports training. Even in video games ffs the three key elements you develop in your characters is power, speed, and you guessed it, cardio. The fact that this guy had not been exposed way earlier is amazing, but he had been fighting tiny dudes before so that helps.
A bunch of retarded fans made this fight possible. Under no other circumstance other than a popularity contest would this fight ever get looked at.
It was a freak show and thanks to Floyd being busy thinking about what color he might paint his bedroom next week and just playing, he actually made it look interesting before he decided to start throwing some shots. Floyd threw what like 6 punches in the first round lol.
