Deja vu (Strikeforce-Bellator)

About ten years ago Strikeforce was competing with ufc,now we have Bellator.New era is coming?
UFC doesnt have big ppv coming this year (only Mcgregor title defend at the end of the year if it happens). On other hand Bellator has great potential to get 2-3 big ppv this year,roster has some great fighters,Askren may comeback as well. Good times,UFC monopoly must END.

I don't think Bellator's model is a sutainable one and I sure as hell don't think Bellator will ever overtake the UFC. People are just sick of Dana and WMG.

Also, 2-3 "small" UFC PPVs will always outdraw 2-3 "big" Bellator PPVs.

Bellator will need an ACTUAL big name signing like McGregor, GSP, or Rousey to make a dent.

If Bellator sells more than 200k in their next PPV, I will happily eat crow.

UFC has some really good fights in July, or hadn't you noticed?

I'm not expecting Bellator to become anywhere close to as popular or as financially successful as the UFC, but it provides a great alternative for talented fighters. The more successful orgs, the better.
