Deformed headgear suggestions?

Hi everyone,

Last week I bought an okami sparring helmet. After unpacking I noticed that it was a bit bent out of shape, probably due to being stored badly. It pushes uncomfortably on one of the cheeks.
Is there a way to fix the shape, or should I try return it?

You could stuff it with something while you're not using it, over-do it in the spot where it's crimping down. Store it like that. That should reshape it.

Seems to be working, thanks. It's already a bit softer, I'll leave it for a while
