It would say that HW Cormier is better than LHW Cormier and that Jones is scared to fight big guys.

Ok.... but why is he better? He's still the same person. His weight should do much to affect his overall fighting style. Wouldn't it just his competition at HW is easier than at LHW?

Size matters, weight divisions are there for a reason. They exist to protect smaller fighters and give them chance to beat somebody. When you get bigger, then most likely you also get stronger.

What competition is there at LHW? If DC moves up, there would be nobody left but Jones and Gus.
