DC said Rumble hit harder than Miocic

does anybody else miss guys getting fed to Rumble for our entertainment every couple months?

Ask Stipe if he landed the best shots to his pontentioal and we would have a better idea.

If you ask Rumble the same, then sure. All we know for a fact is that DC thinks Rumble hits harder, his word weighs more than mine or yours.

Damn, you guys are obsessed

What makes DC so special is the bittersweet element in everything he accomplishes. That’s what the shoop illustrates.

Honestly I don’t get why people rank Jones higher than DC. He’s ten years younger and a steroid abuser.

Either way I would agree with DC that Rumble probably hits harder, I just don't think Stipe landed his best punches.

DC was able to KO Stipe but Ngannou wasn't. Jones was able to KO DC but Rumble wasn't.

Clearly PED Jones > Rumble > DC > Ford Escort in terms of striking power

Stipe could see Ngannue's punches coming a mile away...when you see them coming, they generally don't ko you...and Jones ko'd dc with a head kick...not a punch...

He starched Werdum in ONE round after he choked out Valesquez (who beats up DC regularly).

LOL overrated.

You can say Cain beats up DC on the reg but I doubt it. I'd give DC the favorite if they ever fought. Stipe was on a tear for sure but people were putting him in the GOAT conversation after 4 wins which to me is crazy. That's where he's overrated.

of course Rumble hit Cormier harder, he actually hurt him.

i bet Anderson would say Weidman hits harder than Cormier too.

in the UFC he's hands down the UFC HW GOAT, but in MMA HW? no. he needed to go on a GSP like defense streak in order to be considered for that.

Sure, DC would have been most likely out if Stipe did. Anyway, even if we forget what DC said, Rumble and Stipe are very different kind of strikers. Rumble is really explosive and throws almost nothing but full power punches, overhand rights etc. It should not be suprising to anyone if he hits harder with his style, thats why he gasses.

I didn't say punch I said STRIKING power.

And if you can be sneaky enough that counts as part of your power, otherwise you have to measure "unawaredness" which is entirely subjective.

Jones will always be a tough fight for dc, cause of the many weapons jones uses...if you just go in there and box, he will probably beat you...but jones uses lots of knees and kicks...which seem to give dc alot of trouble.

I think he underestimate weighing in at 245 pounds and 205 pounds before fight takes place helping him better take shots though.

Rumble couldn't finish Arlovski out of all people at heavyweight. I don't think it's out of realm of possibility that somehow Rumble hits harder than Stipe, but I don't necessarily think it's true.

Rumble also unleashed the heavy artillery against DC; Stipe was never able to square up and put heat on anything.
The speed advantage is obviously legit.

I'd love to see Rumble fighting again

I'd love to know how Rumble is wrapping his hands.

Many fighters have used shady wrapping to make their hands casts - then throw in small gloves and BAM. Ungodly power.
lol they get 1 roll of gauze per hand and they cant have any tape on the knuckles.
a ufc or commisiom offical also watches each fighters hands get wraped.

boxing yes they do weird shit and maybe local shows that cant afford to check their fighters hands... but not in the ufc.

also... stipe throws off speed punches... rumble throws everything into every punch. id still beleive either way their similar in power... but i think DC not getting hit clean by stipe has alot to do with it.

I think he was just faster, and Rumble also commits a lot more than Stipe. Stipe didn't hit DC with his best in that fight.
