Strange to DC wants to fight against Shogun, who is like # 8 or # 9 ranked, fighting an unraked fighter.

I like that he wants to defend the LHW belt again and then the HW belt.
That would be a true simultaneously two division champion.

That has absolutely nothing to do with the fact he lost to Jones twice. DC is achieving great things and is easily one of the best competitors we’ve seen, but do you really think those losses don’t sting a little? To gain all these things but know there’s one guy you could never beat.. one guy who’s could’ve definitely did what DC just did (winning HW belt), you think DC doesn’t want to avenge those losses?

This is about him vs. Jon. Not what DC has been doing since Jon’s suspension. Jones beat Cormier’s ass and he knows it. Roids or not. He really does not like Jon. Deep down, he’s probably still hurting from those losses and badly wants to prove he’s better than Jones. You can beat everybody like DC has, but when there’s that one guy (jones) you can’t beat, and it’s also someone you really don’t like, getting smashed in front of the world definitely hurts. I’m not saying he’s going around all miserable about it or something.

DC is nearing the end of his career and accomplishing great things. In my opinion, he'll retire a happy man. Nobody can change the fact that Jones beat DC, you're right. But, Jones has to sit back, watch DC become king of the LHW and HW division at the same time and hear everyone put DC in the GOAT conversation....while he sits back and can't do anything about it.

If anything, I bet Jones is bitter that the man he beat will go down in the record books for doing something he could have possibly done, first. DC's legacy will always be better than Jones, regardless of his "wins" over DC.

Jones is probably the bitter one... bc DC is the #1 man in 2 Divisions. Basically doing what everyone thought JBJ would do when he won the LHW Title. It's a shame really, Jones beat DC twice... he should be the man right now, but he couldn't keep the needle out of his ass.

If you think that Jones “beat his ass, roids or not”, you can’t expect people to view your opinion as objective.

DC is trying to cash out before he retires. He's defined his own career at this point.
