His only challenge other than the champ is Wonderboy. I'm convinced now more than ever, after his last fight. Neither Usman or Colby can outstrike Till, and don't have the one punch knock out power that T Wood has. Nor the fight IQ. They have the wrestling, but as we saw on Sat night, no amount of wrestling prowess will work when you're fighting a LHW. Till didn't even have to defend that hard. He just planted his feet, and T Wood couldn't do anything. He looked like a little kid holding his dads leg. Darren will be be future champ.

Yeah, except anyone with decent wrestling.

But that doesn't matter since Dana protects him from those guys anyway, lol.
Usman would destroy him, Colby would destroy him. He's overrated as fuck.

Manufactured bullshit UFC hype-train. Also he's ducking Middleweight.

Where he'd be lucky to be top 10? Weight cutting is an advantage so is size. He made weight by 2 pounds for WW his last fight. He's perfect for WW.

This ain't it chief. MW is murders row compared to WW where Till enjoys a size advantage. Don't forget he made 169 for his title fight. He only has to cut to 171 until he gets another shot.

He missed weight in 1/3 of his UFC fights and went blind from cutting weight. Are you crazy?

Indeed Usman and Colby are potentially very tough matchups for him. But if he chooses to stay at WW I don't think he can avoid these two for much longer.

I disagree that he is just a hype-train though, I think he is a very talented fighter and will be hard to beat for any WW.

Homie has missed 3 of his last 7 cuts there brother.

He shut us up on this last cut, but he looked like an alien grey, physique-wise.

He's not just a hype-train. He is very skilled, but doesn't have the wrestling to compete with the Top WWs.
I was just talking about how UFC pushed him very hard and gave him the opportunity to dodge all the tough wrestlers at the top of the division.

Give him some time, stop buying magic beans from Dana White. He's definitely very good, but also very young and has typical weak European wrestling.
In a few years, he is definitely worthy of a title-shot. But in his last fight he wasn't.

I want to see his jab game get stronger, for somebody with such height advantage in his division.

I really want to see him push the striking pace. Hes extremely good at cutting off the cage and opponents scape angles, so he knows how to pressure, but he uses mostly taunts however, and waits for a reaction from opponents, to actually strike.

Its great when youre opponent bites on taunts and Till has a chance to adapt his strike. But Woodley wasnt faced by Till's threat, which i believe caught Till off guard.

When Till goes for a kill (the 1-2), his lead punch is not good enough!!!! Which is partly why he is not the hardest man to counter.

I rewatched Till vs Cerrone, and i found that even amidst the ass whooping that Till laid on Cerrone, Cerrone made Till miss his power left 2-3 times and if irc, even took him down at one point. Not to mention, he is not the most diversified striker, which makes his power left a tad more predictable.

I believe Till will become a champ, and that he has an insane good power left hand with great precision. But i really wanna see him mix it up, more than 1-2's... And improve his jab!

    Rant over

Fair enough. I saw he missed weight 2 of his last 5. I think missing weight is behind him though after losing some mass. I just don't think it's worth giving up a top 5 spot at WW for uncertainty at MW.

I agree with this 100%. The issue is with the UFC though, not with Till.

If you recall, Till even said publicly in the post-fight interview after the Wonderboy fight that he did not think he deserved a TS.
