Exactly my point. He looks the business on the talk show circuit, but it strikes me more as a Kata than practical striking as evidenced by his inability to walk out of the cage after trying to implement a leg kicking strategy against Nate in the second fight.

I dunno man. Anderson snapped his shin throwing a leg kick, does he suck too? There is always a risk throwing kicks, because opponents have knees and sometimes you will hit them. Conor isn't a goat kicker and I understand that it can be grating when they try to make it out like he is as they do here... but he isn't terrible either and does occasionally land them against skilled opponents.

There are different styles of kicks. Just because you're proficient in one martial art doesn't mean you are proficient in the other. Conor himself said he had relatively low experience with thai style.
