Dana White doesn't know how to promote Miocic. More like afraid to promote him.

In today's political and social climate he doesn't know how to promote Miocic. Gotta let those nuts hang Dana.

What about "today's political and social climate" has anything to do with Dana not knowing how to promote Miocic? What is the relevance of the snickering cartoon dog?

Stipe is like the klitschko's. Top of their sport but come across as very boring. Stipe seems like he mumbles a lot of the time as well, which probably doesnt help. MM is the same.

The fans decide who they want to get behind.

I don’t think stipe is boring at all. I tune in to watch him fight and the man delivers without getting seriously injured or talking shit. Whatever happened to the age old, blue-collar, nose to the grindstone, mentality? All the lame commercialism has polluted the organization by trading talent for marketability. Stipe is like a litmus test for distinguishing genuine fight fans from the TMZ, media based, fanboys that pick apart every fighter post on twitter and IG in between cards. We don’t need another contemptible loudmouth, social media loving, douche bag to bring in numbers. Support the men that show up, make things happen in the cage and the money will follow...

You got that right man.
Say what you want about him but look at Ken Shamrock a 20-year past his prime completely shot shadow of himself. Was able to out draw 90%of the current UFC roster.

Say what you want but a company can't just promote somebody and make them into a big star it does not work like that.
Exact. Otherwise everyone would be huge.

other than the fact that Stipe is obliterating the best fighters in the world -- let's overlook that minor detail -- he's basically a lot like the avg UFC fan. His firefighting job just adds to that problem. UFC-guy is looking for coked up guy who throws around money like it's water and bangs every 'ho in sight. They don't want to watch their neighbor who takes out the trash and goes to work monday morning, fight for the title.

It's sad to say but the average fan is that stupid. They want to see a shit talking, money spending grease fire. That's the reality.
It doesnt have to always be that way,but you cant grow matt hughes fedor and gsp on trees. It has to happen already and then the ufc pushes it along.

The UFC has been terrible at promoting their fighters for years.
And then they do promote someone its generally the wrong people. They hyped Paige and Sage to no end and they're not even good fighters.

That being said, I feel Stipe had a chance to make a star of himself against Francis and he didn't do it. That was the biggest fight of his career and he chose to play it safe and ride out the win the last few rounds, and I'm certain that turned a lot of casuals off, fair or not

Let me tell you something.

If Dana White doesn't know how to, or can't promote Stipe fucking Miocic? Then he has absolutely no business having anything to do with the UFC....

You know. I think most are starting to get the impression that for a very popular and rich promoter of a very successful company, Dana White seems to be really bad at his job....The new owners are eventually going to want real consistent results rather than Dana bringing back Brock, or Conor, or Ronda, or GSP every once in a while to offset his failure to promote 98% of his roster....

How hard is it to market a giant firefighter who’s finished Werdum, JDS, AA, hunto and Overeem...

Jesus Christ ufc marketing department. DO YOUR FUCKING JOB!!!
His name isn’t America

That’s it, literally

No one in America cares about him because his name isn’t American

A white HW champ, born in America, cannot be promoted to hillbillies because his name is Stipe Miocic, period

Yep.

But making stars out of page and sage still pays off. They still fight for the ufc and are still popular win or lose
