Dana Says Interim WW Title Could be Up for Grabs Again

Old definition:

Interim - a temporary or provisional arrangement; stopgap;

New definition:

Interim - A UFC abused move, to stir up interest; money maker;

Are you sure it's Woodley ducking? Or is it Dana making up shit because he would rather have Woodley vs Usman, rather than Woodley vs Colby?

Colby is more marketable because of the trash talk and beef with Woodley. I'm pretty sure Dana is only talking up Usman because Colby is being difficult to work with.

Woodley is ducking the man who chose surgery over a title fight?
<36>

Woodley is recovering from surgery.
UFC needs a January headliner.

no ducking, no drama
Just timing
Just think UFC 233 Usman vs Ponzinibbio ww interm title.
<6>
In a week this whent from possibly stacked af to yikes.

LOL.. I dont like Colby but even he is not that stupid to fall for that shit again.

Zero fucks given by Dana.

If you think what WME is doing is "belt abuse" you should check out how WBA manages their belts

just scrap the belts altogether. they don't mean shit anymore.

Take the real belt away from Tyron and make Usman vs Covington for the belt.

Seems like Tyrone is ducking again so Dana is whipping out the interim belt again (per is interview on TSN).

I don't think you understand the meaning of ducking, if Dana wants to switch out Colby for Usman how is Woodley ducking..?

Woodley fought 3 months ago. The guy has multiple title defenses under his belt. He was ready to fight Colby but Colby bitched out. Woodley willingly accepted Darren even tho he was training for Colby, Why isn't the UFC and fans giving him the benefit of a doubt here?

He was willing to fight an easy opponent for $$$ when injured at a time that the UFC was looking for a main event. To fight a real contender in his division, he needed to be in better shape.

This is the exact same calculation DC made when he accepted the Lewis fight on short notice and why DC said that he wouldn't have rematched Stipe under the same circumstances.

Ducking is not the right word. He's delaying these fights for as long as possible so he hold the belt for as long as he can, and heal up from paper cuts. He waited 5 months to have surgary after the Maia fight. He didn't have to get surgary. It was a choice.

Woodley just defended the belt a few months ago in impressive fashion.. fuck dana and anyone still disrespecting him.

Whatever, just cut the whole roster including Dana and keep Penn, Cerrone, Gaethje, Lawler, Lil Nog and Shogun.

Willingness to fight an easy fight but not a harder fight against someone who is actually in your division is in fact ducking. Especially when he's the top guy.

I'd LOVE to hear why it isn't

Is Woodley just hoping Colby will fight someone else and lose? Maybe he's worried about all the trash talk

With some injuries, surgery isn't always the first course of action recommended by a doctor.

It may have been a recommendation and choice to go ahead with surgery, after first attempting to rehab the injury without surgery didn't fully heal it.
