How many months can Conor go without defending and not be stripped? He is already at 13 months and counting with no fight scheduled. That has to be rough on everyone at 155 that is just watching their career drain by while the champion refuses to fight.

There needs to be a concrete rule that if you don't have a fight scheduled after 1 year you are stripped.

It's not like Conor wouldn't get an immediate title shot.

Maybe longer than a year, like 18 months under special circumstances. Lets say a guy wins the belt, then he is scheduled to defend at the 6 month mark, has an injury that takes a year to recover from, that puts him at 18 months. The problem is that is completely different than the Conor situation, he just flat out refuses to fight. Injuries I understand, what Conor is doing though is completely different.
