I have always been against the idea of adding 165. But I must admit, when I saw the headline (fake or true) I did get a bit excited and suddenly could see all the possibilities of a new weight division.

After the New York bus incident, Conor vs Khabib was the only fight to make. There’s real, unscripted beef there that was video taped and went uber viral on mainstream sports news and every social media. I had people texting me about it who never text me about mma. Plus both guys are arguably the best in this division (and Ferguson too) and that needs to be sorted out as well. If promoted right this fight could sell twice the amount that Nate vs Conor for a fake new belt would, and with it trending above 2 mill projected buys, it very well could.
