It is a bit of a bad comparison because Hopkins was still an elite fighter at the time. Fedor actually relied a ton on his speed and reflexes in his prime, as well. It's a big reason why his decline was so rapid.

in his 3 losses in a row he never tried to mix it up like he always did in his prime, he was just straight up brawling these guys for some weird reason, not sure reflex has much to do with his losses
