You're confusing the timeline. Both Holly and Nunes were already fighting when Ronda fought Carmouche. They both started in mma before Ronda did. The bantamweight division was thriving already.

The UFC didn't build the women's bantamweight division. They took it from Strikeforce who already had Ronda, Tate, Nunes, Zingano, Davis, Carmouche, etc.

The fact is no other promotion, not even the one specifically for women, has been able to build up a talent pool. That should speak for itself.

The reasons for this have been discussed and in large part, athletic women who are 5'9 - 6'0 and 150+ pounds are less common to begin with but they are also choosing other sports because there is no future in WMMA. Invicta fighters get a few thousand per fight. If there's a premiere destination for the bigger women that offers real money, they will come in time.

Yes and no. There was an existing 135 division with some decent fighters when Ronda was brought into the UFC.

145 is a barren waste both inside and outside the UFC.

Agreed but I'm looking at it from a marketing perspective. Casuals loved Rhonda and they had no fkn clue who her opponents were. And the UFC only cares if people buy. The GOAT/unbeatable narrative accomplishes that.
