Their old stuff was awesome. August And Everything After had some of the best lyrics on an album IMO. Don't know why Duritz was so depressed though, he was tagging a lot of the 90s heartthrob babes (Jen Aniston, Courtney Cox etc)

August and Everything After is a fantastic album. One of my favorites. Songs don't get much better than "Anna Begins" and "Sullivan Street.
