You know how Alvarez and others try to take away from Conors close win over Nate, by saying that many guys have beaten Nate?

The fact of the matter is that beating Nate in a 5 round striking match is very impressive. Nate's only recent losses have been to wrestlers (RDA and Bendo), and that one KO to Josh Thomson (anyone can get KO'ed when they fight long enough).

No one out-strikes Nate over 3 or 5 rounds. And Conor did that, essentially beating Nate in the area he is best in. Sure, there are question marks regarding Conor's TDD and ground game, but this accomplishment shows how good of a striker he really is.

Conor haters won't be satisfied until

he beats the undertaker at wrestlemania

stop being autistic. if you want to pick apart this remark in an ultra literal manner then please explain conors claim that nate is 3 times bigger than him. and then get a life.

He used leg kicks, which is known to br Nate's kryptonite. Not really like he stood toe to toe and banged with him. All of Nate's losses have been where guys utilized leg kicks. And unlike Nick, when Nate gets kicked low, he loses almost all mobility, and has extremely weak ass legs, evidenced by him switching stances after like 2-3 leg kicks.

He did the same agaisnt RDA. So yeah, Nate's been beaten down too many times, and his weakness is still something he hasn't even attempted o correct, or if he has, he has the sorriest leg checking game in the business, and the weakest legs in the business.

Counter point, obliterated.

RDA made him his bitch everywhere though.

Mcgregor didn't out strike Diaz, Diaz landed more over 5 rounds.

I see that Conor landed more significant strikes in 3 of the 5 rounds, which under the rules they fought under means he wins. This isn't pride.

If the rules are different, the fighters fight different.

Landed two more strikes in a couple rounds doesn't mean outstruck. Stop flossing with his pubic hair

Well everyone at lightweight including Nate beat Donald Cerrone

I scored 1, 2, and 4 for Conor, as most people did. How did you score it?

If you scored it for Conor, and the whole fight was striking, then Conor outstruck Nate under the scoring criteria they fought under. If that exact fight happened in Pride, I would have scored it for Nate. Then again, both guys may have fought differently if it was Pride rules, so that point is irrelevant.

Under that logic round 3 should be a 10-8 for Nate
