if they were to set up Penn vs Gomi right now

Sorry if this is a pointless thread but I saw this hypothetical match up mentioned in a different thread and was thinking about it. Penn vs. Gomi 1 was literally a fight that basically determines who the No. 1 lightweight in the world was

A rematch actually makes a lot of sense right now, considering of course if the UFC keeps them and they both still wanna fight

Crazy to think about how sad that fight would be

I'd watch tho lol

I dig it.

Have Shogun vs. Rampage 2 on that card as well.

Everyone retires together after that.

The best fight for Penn my opinion would be that Ryan Hall jiu jitsu guy who kept flopping on the ground against Maynard.

Good God is BJ got pounded out by the guy LOL

' Both Gomi and Pennn are legends. A Legend fight. Makes sense and its plausible. '

According to Penn's fight with Siver, he still gets the W.
He will not go without a fight, as bad fight as it is. Gomi will.

Could be OK, BJ might actually win that one.

Are you all insane?

That would be awesome.

I don't want to see BJ in the octagon again...unless it's against CM Punk.
