Jones is very talented, but he gets a lot of mileage out of keeping his fingers extended towards people's eyes. Most of his eye pokes come from people trying to close the gap and are considered to be inadvertent, but the way he postures himself makes those inadvertent eye pokes unavoidable. Even the use of Pride style gloves would be a welcome relief and would help shorter fighters close the distance.
