And realistically Conor was yet another can for Mayweather's record.

Conor fans can't understand that their boy wasn't the #2 ranked boxer in the world when he faced Floyd. Conor wouldn't even rank top 10, but no one will ever know that since he given a shot at the best fighter without having a boxing resume. The fight was a money grab, equivalent to a celebrity getting a shot due to popularity. Conor did not belong in there, and Floyd carried him the whole fight despite how well people thought he did.

What you are confusing it with is people not counting those as losses because of Jones juicing. Nobody is counting those as a win or giving DC "credit".
Conor doesn't have that excuse to his losses, though.
