    I personally just like to see good strikes, and sometimes brawls, i like kickboxing too, i'm trying to get a muay thai fight this year, its just the fight fans that want to see knock outs i don't like to watch those short knock out fights though.

    I love how the MMA fans that are quick to bash Boxing and Kickboxing for the lack of ground game are the ones to shout at the ref to stand the fighters up when the fight hits the ground in MMA.

    I love MMA and boxing, but despite watching every single K1 Grand Prix and following many of the contemporary events, I have never been able to fall in love with the sport of kickboxing. Believe me I've tried. I enjoy kickboxing in moderation, and of course there are many fights which are utterly epic, but on the whole don't thirst to see it.

    I think a big part part of it is that the fights are simply too short to build into a dramatic 'story' which the audience can become invested in.
